Homework 2 - Waste Reduction

One way to reduce one's waste and environmental footprint, in general, is to buy local. Typically products, especially food products, require more robust packaging when shipped across long distances to keep them fresh or undamaged. Conversely, local products do not require as much packaging and are typically produced using more sustainable practices.
